Welcome to the workout Hub

Here you will find a mix of workouts for you to do at your own pace this page will be updated weekly with new workouts for you to do.

There will be a mix throughout the week of body weighted workouts both in the form of programmes that you can download and do at your own pace. As well as links to Body weighted HIIT classes and downloadable weighted programmes too.


Please note that as much as I have tried to make these workouts suitable for the majority. If you have any underlying healthy conditions or injuries you should speak to your doctor.

What is a body weight programme and why should I do it ?

A Body weighted programme is where you use your own body weight to perform an exercise this is a very affective way of training. If you are someone that may be intimidated by fast paced workouts this will be a much gentler way to ease you in, Thats not to say it won't be challenging but you will be able to take longer rest times when needed and build strength and tone as well as raise the heart rate slightly.


What is HIIT and why should I do it ?

HIIT stands for high intensity interval training and what that means is quick bursts of movement followed by short rest periods. This type of training gets your heart rate up and keeps it up meaning you are able to burn more calories therefor burn more fat in less time.

By doing just 3 HIIT classes a week you will start to see an improvement in your fitness, it will help you maintain the same intensity for longer whilst also helping reduce cholesterol, blood pressure and abdominal fat.


What is weight training and why should I do it ?

Its benefits include improved posture, better sleep, gaining bone density, maintaining weight loss, boosting metabolism, lowering inflammation.
